Phil Parnell Trio
Phil Parnell teams up with the ever-inspiring bass and drums of Danish musicians Torben Bjoernskov and Espen Laub von Lillienskjold to bring together the sounds reminiscent of New Orleans splashed with electronica, sweet ballads, funky rhythms, and straight ahead jazz.
Following the release of their first CD Funky Feet, PP3 was drafted into The Matthew Herbert Big Band for the Abbey Road recording of There’s me And There’s You and subsequent MH Big Band tours.
Back in the studio PP3 prepare for their next CD release early 2010 including collaborations and concerts with Swiss electronic musicians Franco Mento and Yannick Barman (trumpet).
